Andrew was raised in Munising, Michigan. Upon graduating from Munising High School, he attended Michigan State University for his undergraduate studies where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Criminal Justice. He was a member of the Criminal Justice Honor Society.
Andrew then attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he earned his Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.), Magna Cum Laude. He graduated within the top 7% of his law school class. While attending law school, Andrew concentrated his studies and externship on Estate Planning and Elder Law courses.
Andrew is currently a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). He is also a Section Member of the Michigan State Bar Probate and Estate Planning, Elder Law and Disability Rights, and Real Property Sections.
In his free time, Andrew likes to canoe, hike, and go backcountry camping with his wife Sarah and their dog George.
